Real Gems

***************************************************************

It's a bright sunny day and we are going to the river ( Fraser River). It's only a few minutes drive from our home in Rosedale , B.C.
My husband and I love walking along the river and looking for Agates.Every time I find one I get very excited. It's like finding a little Gem.
I't one of the most relaxing , rejuvinating and exhilirating experiences.

In the first 2 pictures you can see what they look like polished and the 3rd picture shows what they look like in their natural state.

Oh, Jordanka! Take me with you! They are beautiful. I just found out what agate was, last year. As a vendor in a local Loews hotel, several ladies sold jewelry. They gave me a bit of information of the stones. Their jewelry was beautiful.

Have a wonderful time and show more photos of your finds. Diana

Hi Jordanka! It's Jo from Under the Influence.

I love the rocks. How do you polish them?

Aloha Jordanka! I loved your post - reminds me of the treasures my husband and I collect while playing on the beaches of Kauai, HI(some of our are in rough form and others are the beautifully polished ones thx to the ocean's tumbling)...thanks for sharing pictures of your finds! I was happy to finally find your blog - I've "seen you around" on Schar, Marionette and other artist's blogs and kept meaning to stop by yours ~ well, here I am(grin!)... God bless...Dava
